Kitchen

Vinegar for Faucets: Soak paper towels in vinegar and place them on faucets to eliminate buildup. Follow up with a vinegar-soaked towel to shine faucets and fixtures.

Lemon and Salt for Rust

: Use a lemon dipped in salt to tackle rust stains in your sink. The acid does most of the work, making it an easy and effective solution.

Microwave Cleaning: Microwave a bowl of lemons and water to loosen gunk, making it easy to wipe away.

Stove Burners: For grimy stove burners, place them in a zip lock bag with a small amount of ammonia overnight. Ammonia is smelly but effective.

Electric Stove Burners: If you have electric burners, clean them with dish soap and water.

For tough spots, use a baking soda paste.

Glass Cooktop: Sprinkle baking soda on the cooktop and let it soak with a damp towel for 15 minutes. Then, scrub with the baking soda paste and dry with a cloth for a sparkling finish.

Oven Glass: Use a melamine sponge, like a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, to make your oven glass sparkle. Alternate between wet and dry sponges for best results.

Greasy Dust: To clean the greasy dust buildup, use a few drops of mineral oil on a paper towel.

This will easily remove the gunk and make future cleaning easier.

Bathroom

Shower Curtains and Liners: If moldy, replace or bleach them thoroughly. Most are machine washable.

Towels and Bath Mats: Wash towels every three uses and bath mats regularly on a disinfecting cycle.
