Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, opened up about the challenges of filming intimate scenes with his co-star Caitriona Balfe. Despite their close, almost sibling-like relationship, these scenes still come with their own set of awkward moments. Heughan shared that they often use "a wee bit of Dutch courage" to get through the more embarrassing parts and that practical elements like Vaseline and water spray are used to create the perfect on-screen effect.
