One year after the tragic death of rapper XXXTentacion, his close friend, Tankhead, was shot in the head while driving in South Florida. Although the shooting occurred near the site where XXXTentacion was fatally shot, it is unclear whether there is any connection between the two incidents.
Tankhead, whose real name is Terrence Rolle, was driving in his car when he was suddenly shot in the head. Miraculously, he managed to exit the vehicle and seek help at a nearby motorcycle shop.
The shooting took place in Deerfield Beach, just a few miles away from where XXXTentacion was killed. The young rapper, known for his controversial persona and breakout hits, was gunned down outside of a motorcycle dealership on June 18, 2018. The assailants in that case were arrested and charged, and the motive was determined to be a robbery gone wrong.
Many followers of XXXTentacion have speculated about a potential connection between the two incidents, considering their close friendship. However, law enforcement officials have not yet established any link between the shootings and are treating them as separate incidents at the moment.
Authorities are currently investigating the shooting and are seeking witnesses or anyone with information that could help identify the attackers.
