Scott Gimple, showrunner of the original series of The Walking Dead and the upcoming spin-off The Ones Who Live, addressed his favorite fan theory in a recent interview. The theory suggests that main character Rick Grimes is still in a coma and that all the events of the show are happening in his dream. Gimple admits to liking the theory and says that it has been a popular one among fans, stemming from the fact that the series began with Rick waking up in a deserted hospital.
