Andrew Lincoln is excited to reprise his role as Rick Grimes in a new Walking Dead spinoff, but wishes Scott Wilson, who played Hershel Greene, could join him. Wilson passed away in 2018. The new show, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, follows characters from the original series. The franchise includes spinoff shows like The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Scott Gimple, the franchise boss, sees no end in sight for the series, aiming to continue fulfilling creator Robert Kirkman's vision. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live premieres on Feb. 25, 2024, on AMC and AMC+.
