Greg Germann, who played Dr. Thomas "Tom" Koracick in Grey's Anatomy, has confirmed his return for a small stint in season 18. In a message to fans, Germann expressed his excitement about his character heading to Minnesota. He will be joining Meredith Grey and Amelia Shepherd in their study there. Germann previously left the show in season 17 to join Jesse Williams' character in Boston. Germann's return follows the reprisal of other iconic characters this season, including Kate Walsh and Scott Speedman.
