Jesse Williams left Grey's Anatomy to pursue other acting opportunities, including starring in the Broadway revival of Take Me Out. He wanted to challenge himself and explore new roles outside of the long-running medical drama. Williams will also appear in Only Murders in the Building season 3 and has been seeking comedic roles to diversify his acting portfolio.
