"The Grove" is considered the darkest episode of The Walking Dead series. This episode features the deaths of two young girls, Lizzie and Mika, at the hands of Carol in order to protect the group. The episode explores themes of morality, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of living in a post-apocalyptic world. Lizzie's disturbing behavior and beliefs that the walkers are still people lead Carol to make the difficult decision to kill her.
