Miranda Lambert, country music royalty and self-proclaimed "cowgirl at heart," is kicking off her 40s with a spring in her step and a brand-new partner by her side. But before you jump to conclusions, it's not a duet partner or a new hubby – it's a handsome fella named Cool, and he's all hooves and heart.
Miranda recently took to Instagram to introduce the newest member of her "farmily," a stunning horse named Cool. In a sweet video, Miranda beams as she bonds with her equine companion, her happiness radiating brighter than a rhinestone belt buckle.
"Y'all please welcome the newest member of our farmily. This is 'Cool,' she gushed in the caption. "He is one of the sweetest horses I've ever met. He does it all with grace and patience and has already taught me so much."
But Cool is more than just a pretty face. He represents a new challenge for Miranda, one that aligns perfectly with her desire to embrace this next chapter with open arms and a fearless spirit.
Turning 40 can be a time of reflection, a moment to take stock of life's journey and chart a course for the adventures to come. For Miranda, it's about pushing boundaries and stepping outside her comfort zone, both personally and professionally.
"I turned 40 in November, and I'm ready for a decade of pushing myself to be better and bolder both personally and professionally," she shared with her fans.
"This feels like the perfect beginning to that journey."
Enter Cool, a horse gifted to her by a close friend. He's Miranda's partner in a new hobby – mounted shooting, a fast-paced equestrian sport that combines horsemanship, marksmanship, and a whole lot of adrenaline.
It's not just horses that have Miranda feeling grateful.
Her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, continues to be her rock, her biggest supporter, and the peanut butter to her jelly.
Brendan penned a heartfelt tribute to his wife on her 40th birthday, writing, "It’s finally here, your 40th birthday has arrived… I'm the lucky one, because 40 has never looked so good.
Don't change for anyone, you have touched so many lives, both human and animal. You bring smiles to every room you walk in. The world is a much better place with you in it."
With a supportive husband, a passion for horses, and a heart full of country music magic, Miranda Lambert is proving that life only gets better with age. So saddle up, y'all, because this cowgirl is just getting started.
