director Jon Favreau that Musk had a direct influence on shaping Stark's character. In 2016, Favreau shared how he and Downey Jr. spent time with Musk to get an authentic feel for what it would be like to embody someone with Stark's innovation and bravado. Favreau even filmed parts of at Musk's SpaceX facility, signaling Musk’s close connection with the Marvel world at the time.
However, in the podcast, Swisher provocatively suggested that Musk has been "cosplaying" Tony Stark, seemingly adopting a superhero-like persona in his real-life endeavors, from launching rockets to engaging in Twitter battles. This comparison adds an intriguing layer to the dynamic between the two men, as Musk’s larger-than-life presence often mirrors Stark's fictional exploits.
Downey Jr.'s Concerns About Musk's Public Behavior
Despite acknowledging Musk’s significant contributions to technology and space exploration, Downey Jr. expressed concerns about the tech mogul’s behavior. He stated, “I’ve only met him a few times.
