The Civic Republic Military (CRM) is the largest army in The Walking Dead universe. Led by Major General Beale, the CRM is the military branch of the Civic Republic, which is a civilization that houses civilians in the post-apocalyptic world. The CRM ensures the safety and order of the civilians, while also enforcing secrecy about its whereabouts. The CRM has been featured in three different The Walking Dead shows – The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

These shows have revealed bits and pieces about the CRM, but there is much more to be revealed in the upcoming spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The CRM is spread across the United States and its mission is to rebuild society, even if it means wiping out cities and killing outsiders. The CRM enforces secrecy to protect themselves and their resources from potential enemies. Despite the information revealed so far, there is still much to be uncovered about the CRM.
