Christian Serratos asked for that Rosita fate on The Walking Dead finale

The series finale of The Walking Dead saw the death of one of its main characters, Rosita, played by Christian Serratos. However, it was revealed that the decision to kill off Rosita was actually Serratos' own idea. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Serratos explained that she wanted to give fans an emotional experience in the finale and felt that her character's death was a fitting way to end the show. 

She also admitted that it helped her find closure as an actor, as she had spent so much time portraying Rosita.

The scene in which Rosita reveals her bite to Eugene, played by Josh McDermitt, was particularly difficult for Serratos, as it marked the end of their on-screen relationship. The cast and crew were emotional during the filming of Rosita's death scene, and Serratos expressed her pride in her performance and excitement to see the audience's reaction to the finale.
