Katherine Heigl bid farewell to Grey's Anatomy more than 10 years ago.
But the Emmy-winning actress's character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, still loves on in the hearts of the show's fans.
She recently chimed in on the unexpected reunion between Izzie and Justin Chambers' Dr. Alex Karev, and she didn't hold back her thoughts on how he was written off the show.

The 42-year-old admitted to ET Online that she hasn't watched the season 16 episode Leave a Light On, which aired last March on ABC: 'I didn't see it.'
It sees Alex leaving his wife Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) in Seattle, as he reunites with his ex Izzie (who doesn't actually appear in the episode) to raise their twins on a horse farm in Kansas.
'Wasn't he with someone?' Heigl asked after being updated on the episode's storyline, adding: 'Listen, isn't that an a**hole move?'
It comes after showrunner Krista Vernoff defended the choice to TVLine last April: 'At the end of the day, there were three choices.

And although the current season has seen fan favorites like Patrick Dempsey and TR Knight return for special appearances, Heigl doesn't seem interested in coming back.
She said of her new show Firefly Lane: 'I'm super focused on this show and my passion for it. I would never say never but it's not likely.'
Heigl starred in the first six seasons of the show, before her priorities shifted to raising her newly adopted daughter Nancy Leigh in September of 2009.
She told Entertainment Weekly in 2010 that she asked to be written off, after returning from paternal leave: 'That was really the turning point for me.
'So before I was due back, I spoke again to [creator] Shonda [Rhimes] about wanting to leave. Then I waited at home until I was given the formal okay that I was off the show. The rumors that I refused to return were totally untrue.'
