Chicago Med: More Drama, More Trauma, More Gaffney! 

Good news, Chicago Med fans! NBC has given us the green light for a 10th season, meaning more heart-wrenching cases, relationship turmoil, and edge-of-your-seat medical emergencies are coming our way.  And let's be honest, after the rollercoaster that Season 9 has been, we're all craving answers and new developments.

The Season of Heartbreak and Healing

Season 9 hasn't pulled any punches. Sharon Goodwin, our fearless leader, has been grappling with her ex-husband's Alzheimer's diagnosis, a heartbreaking reality that's tested her strength and resilience. Meanwhile, Dr. Dean Archer received a life-saving kidney transplant, but the donor was his son, a recovering addict.  Talk about complicated family dynamics!  

Charge Nurse Maggie Lockwood, known for her tough love and unwavering support, is facing her own demons in the form of a divorce, leaving her vulnerable and searching for a new normal.

And poor Dr. Hannah Asher! Her dating life has been a disaster, leaving her frustrated and questioning everything.

The New Kid on the Block

Adding fuel to the fire, we have ER newbie Dr. Mitch Ripley. He's stirred things up from day one, confronting Dr. Charles about their past and sparking a flirtation with Dr. Asher.  The tension is palpable!  Ripley's arrival has injected a new wave of drama into Gaffney, leaving us wondering what shockwaves he'll send through the hospital next.

Counting Down to Season 10

While the wait for Season 10 feels agonizingly long (it premieres in Fall 2024), we can catch all the new Season 9 episodes Wednesday nights at 8/7c on NBC, or stream them the following day on Peacock.
