Controversial rapper XXXTentacion, who was shot dead in June 2018, may have confessed to assaulting his girlfriend in a 2016 recording, according to recent reports. The recording, which was obtained by Pitchfork, allegedly features XXXTentacion discussing an incident where he attacked his then-girlfriend, Geneva Ayala.
In the disturbing 27-minute audio, the rapper reportedly describes the events that transpired during the assault, stating that he had beaten Ayala, strangled her, and threatened to kill her numerous times. He further admits to other acts of violence against her, including injuring her eye, which she ultimately lost.
