A new person of interest has been identified in the murder investigation of rapper XXXTentacion, according to Florida investigators. The authorities have revealed that this individual is believed to have key information related to the shooting death of the popular artist.
XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was fatally shot on June 18, 2018, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Since then, investigators have been working tirelessly to solve the case.
The Broward Sheriff's Office and the US Marshals Service announced the new person of interest, Robert Allen, during a press conference.
During the press conference, the investigators emphasized the importance of community involvement in resolving the case. They highlighted that cooperation from community members is vital in bringing forth justice and closure for the artist's family and fans.
The investigators further revealed that Allen, also known as "Big Rob," was seen on surveillance footage from a nearby motorcycle dealership at the time of the murder. Additionally, they disclosed that the suspect had previously lived in the same neighborhood as the late rapper.
Authorities have already arrested Dedrick Devonshay Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome in connection with XXXTentacion's murder.
