A third individual has been arrested in connection with the murder of rapper XXXTentacion. However, one suspect is still on the run. The arrest was made on Tuesday, and the suspect was taken into custody in Georgia. The Broward Sheriff's Office in Florida identified the individual as 22-year-old Robert Allen. He was apprehended on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder and armed robbery. Two other suspects, 22-year-old Dedrick Williams and 20-year-old Michael Boatwright, have already been taken into custody.
XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was shot in June outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was known for his controversial and often violent lyrics, as well as his legal troubles. The rapper had been awaiting trial on multiple charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and false imprisonment. Despite his controversies, his music had a significant impact on the hip-hop scene, garnering millions of streams and a dedicated following.
The motive behind XXXTentacion's murder remains unclear, but authorities have suggested it was the result of a robbery gone wrong. Investigators believe that the perpetrators were after a Louis Vuitton bag, which was stolen from the rapper's vehicle. The bag was later recovered by police. However, the investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are seeking additional information from the public.
